VICTOR BRAOJOS - Shreds of light
The first time I listened to Víctor Braojos was at the Palau de la Música Catalana in one of his performances. I was a member of the jury at the annual competition “El Primer Palau” and I remember very vividly his fabulous interpretation of Schubert’s B-flat last piano Sonata. The way Víctor played that piece impressed me greatly.
His performance was like a sensational journey moving from the most subtle soft passages to the most powerful moments in a very natural, effortless manner.
Listening to his CD “Shreds of Light” and after knowing him personally, I can establish a very clear connection between his playing and him as a person. Víctor is a committed artist who thoroughly studies and understands the music he plays. He communicates his feelings in an intense, honest and vibrant style. Just what an artist should be.
