Young Romanian pianist Sînziana Mircea had her
debut at the Romanian Athenaeum, the main venue in
her country, at the age of 7, followed by numerous
appearances in Europe. She made her American
debut at the age of 11. She started touring at the age
of 14 with a solo tour in the USA, continuing in the
following years with recital tours in Japan and China. Her international orchestral debut took place at the
Tokyo Metropolitan Theater in 2013 under the baton of Japanese conductor Mitsuyoshi Oikawa. One year later, she became the first Romanian pianist to be granted a scholarship from the Van
Cliburn Foundation and TCU School of Music at PianoTexas Festival & Academy. Her performances at prestigious venues such as St Martin-in-the-Fields London and Cheltenham Town
Hall (UK), Nanjing Cultural Arts Center and Harbin Concert Hall (China), Bucharest Philharmonic and the National Radio Hall (Romania), as well as at PepsiCo Recital Hall – Fort Worth, Texas
(USA), have been enthusiastically received by both the public and critics. Recordings of her concerts have been broadcast by BBC Radio 3, Radio Romania Musical and on major radio channels for classical music throughout Europe (Sweden, Norway, Poland).
